Happy Heartfelt Wednesday everyone! With Labor Day this weekend it means summer is basically over...where did the time go?
My card this week features one of the beautiful stamped images from the Farmer's Market Collection. I took a break from my Copics and decided to use watercolors instead.
I love the vine detail and the coordinating die makes it so easy to incorporate it into a project!
I finished my card with a simple sentiment from the Farmers Market Paper Collection!

As always the HC design team have some great inspiration for you; so hope on over to the HC Blog for lots of ideas and tutorials.

A "BOO" to You!

I saw these dies from Memory Box and, since Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, they ended up  in my "future project" box! The future came sooner than expected when an idea popped into my head and I HAD to make this card, right now...TODAY!!!
I used Memory Box Sleepy Hollow Oval Frame and Swirling Ghosts dies. The sentiment and moon with bats are Memory Box stamps.
I added a cute little "BOO" from MFT stamp set Primitive Pumpkins and cut it out using Poppy General Store Tags. Add a little spider and..."BOO"!
I have 8 pre-stamped and cut sets ready to put together, so I should be ahead of myself for once!

Recipe Box of Memories

Happy Heartfelt Wednesday everyone! A few years ago I got on a kick and started collecting old recipes on eBay; some came in binders and others arrived in recipe boxes. I was always questioning why someone would sell a family recipe collection. I have all of my moms recipes, handwritten, clipped from magazines and when she was learning to type, she practiced on recipe cards. Each recipe brings back so many memories, some we actually made and others were saved for another day, still unmade to this day. But no way can I throw them away, these were mom's tools and I still use her 1950's McCall's Pumpkin Pie recipe every year! For me recipes are memories...
I guess most people don't use recipe boxes anymore, this wood box was not impossible to find, but it did take a bit of looking; I finally found it on Amazon! I covered it with the latest release from Heartfelt Creations, the Farmers Market Collection!
So, go get yourself a recipe box, personalize it in your own style, fill it with family memories and pass it on to the next generation!
